Terms of Service

Last updated October 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Mtislab LLC (“Mtislab”, “we”, “us”) for using qriz.ai: our website (qriz.ai), the restaurant dashboard (dashboard.qriz.ai) and the guest menus we host (menu.qriz.ai), together the “Service”.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information. If you sign up for a restaurant or another business, you confirm that you may act for it, and “you” means that business.

The short version

  • 7 days free, then monthlyEvery new restaurant starts with a 7-day free trial, no card needed. Add a card to continue: the first charge comes when the trial ends, then once a month.
  • Cancel anytimeCancel in the dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
  • Upgrade now, downgrade laterAn upgrade starts at once and charges only the difference for the days left. A downgrade starts on your next billing date.
  • Your menu stays yoursYou own your menu, photos and data. We use them only to run the Service for you, and you can take a copy with you.
  • Check what AI writesAI imports, translates and describes your dishes, but it can make mistakes. You’re responsible for what your menu says, especially allergens, nutrition and prices.
  • Play fairDon’t misuse the Service, other people’s content or your guests’ information. We may suspend accounts that put guests, other customers or the Service at risk.

01The Service

qriz.ai lets restaurants, cafés and bars build a QR menu and run it: import a menu from a photo, PDF or link, translate it into other languages, describe dishes, publish the menu at a link and a QR code, and see how guests use it. On Pro, guests can also book a table, get AI pairing suggestions and rate their visit.

What each plan includes is shown on our pricing page and in the dashboard. We keep improving the Service and may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something your paid plan includes, we’ll tell you in advance.

02Your account

Who can sign up
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. qriz.ai is a service for businesses: use it for your restaurant, not as a consumer.
Accurate information
Give us accurate details about you and your restaurant, including its country, and keep them up to date. Your restaurant’s country decides the currency you’re billed in.
Keeping it secure
You’re responsible for your sign-in (email and password, or Google) and for everything done through your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.
More than one restaurant
One account can manage several restaurants. Each restaurant has its own trial, plan and subscription.

03Free trial

Each new restaurant gets a free trial (currently 7 days) on the plan you choose. You don’t need a card to start, and we’ll remind you before the trial ends.

To keep your menu live after the trial, add a card in Billing. Adding a card during the trial costs nothing: the first charge happens when the trial ends. If the trial ends without a card, your guest menu stays available for a grace period (currently 7 days) and then goes offline until you subscribe. Your menu and settings are kept, so you can pick up where you left off.

One trial per restaurant. We may refuse or end trials we believe are being abused, for example by creating new restaurants to get more free time.

04Plans, billing and payment

Subscriptions
Plans are billed monthly, in advance, and renew automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. By adding a card, you authorize us, through our payment provider, to charge it for each period and for any plan-change difference.
Prices and currency
Prices are shown on our pricing page and in the dashboard, in the currency for your restaurant’s country. A subscription is billed in the currency it started in for as long as it runs. Your bank may add its own conversion or card fees.
Taxes
Prices don’t include taxes unless we say so. You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, such as VAT, GST or sales tax, other than taxes on our income.
Plan changes
An upgrade applies immediately, and we charge the difference for the days left in the current period. A downgrade applies on your next billing date, so you keep what you’ve paid for until then. During the trial, changing plans is free.
Failed payments
If a charge fails, we try again (currently up to three attempts in total, a day apart) and email you. If it still fails, your subscription is suspended and, after the grace period, your guest menu goes offline until payment succeeds. You can update your card or retry from Billing.
Price changes
We may change our prices. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it will start from your next billing date after that. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where the law requires a refund or we charged you by mistake. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us within 30 days.
Receipts
We email a confirmation after each successful charge, and your payment history is in Billing.

05Canceling and closing your account

Canceling
You can cancel your subscription at any time in Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. After that we won’t charge you again and, once the grace period ends, your guest menu goes offline. Until the period ends, you can resume the subscription in one click.
Closing your account
To close your account and delete your data, email us from the address on your account. We delete your restaurant, menus and files within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy, except records we must keep by law, such as billing records.
Taking your data with you
Before you close your account, you can ask us for a copy of your menu and data in a portable format.

06Your content

What it covers
Everything you add to the Service: restaurant details, menus, prices, descriptions, photos, logos, the files and links you import, and the guest information collected through your menu.
You own it
You keep all rights in your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, translate, adapt (for example, resize photos or reformat a menu) and display it, only to provide the Service to you. This includes sharing it with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, such as our AI provider. We don’t use your content to train AI models. The license ends when your content is deleted, apart from copies kept in backups for a short time.
Your responsibility
You must have the rights to everything you upload or import, and it must be accurate and lawful. Import only menus that belong to your restaurant or that you’re allowed to use, whether from a photo, a PDF, your website or a delivery platform.
Public by design
Your guest menu is public: anyone with its link or QR code can see it, and search engines may list it. Don’t put anything there you want to keep private.
Showing your restaurant
We won’t name or show your restaurant in our marketing without your permission.

07AI features

qriz.ai uses AI to read imported menus, translate them, write dish descriptions and nutrition estimates, and suggest pairings.

Check before you rely on it
AI output can be wrong or incomplete: a misread price, a clumsy translation, a missed allergen. Review what AI produces; you can edit or remove anything it writes.
Allergens and nutrition
Calorie, nutrition and allergen information produced by AI is an estimate, not a lab analysis or a guarantee. You’re responsible for the allergen, nutrition, price and other information your menu shows, and for meeting the food-information rules where your restaurant operates.
Fair use
AI features have usage limits so the Service stays fast and reliable for everyone. We may set or change these limits.

08Bookings, reviews and guest information

Bookings
Table bookings made through your menu are requests to your restaurant. We pass them on, but you decide whether to accept them, and you’re responsible for your dealings with your guests.
Ratings and reviews
After rating a visit, every guest may be offered a link to your Google reviews page. Don’t offer rewards for reviews, write or buy fake ones, or pressure guests to leave them; follow Google’s policies and the consumer laws that apply to you.
Guest information
For bookings, ratings and menu statistics, you are the controller of your guests’ information and we process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for telling your guests how you use it. Contact us if you need a data processing agreement.

09Using a menu as a guest

If you open a menu on qriz.ai as a guest, the restaurant that published it is responsible for its dishes, prices, availability and allergen information. Translations and descriptions may be produced by AI, so ask the staff if anything is unclear, especially about allergens. A booking you send is a request that the restaurant confirms. Please rate visits honestly, and don’t misuse menus, for example by sending fake bookings. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

  • break the law or anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
  • publish false or misleading information, or content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful;
  • upload malware, probe or attack the Service, or get around its security, limits or access controls;
  • copy, scrape or access the Service by automated means, other than through features we provide for that;
  • resell, rent or sublicense the Service without our written agreement;
  • impersonate a person or business, or use another restaurant’s name or brand without permission;
  • send spam, or use guests’ information for anything other than serving them.

You may not use the Service if you or your business are subject to sanctions that prohibit us from serving you.

11Third-party services

Some parts of the Service rely on others: our payment provider, Google sign-in, links to Google Maps and Google reviews, and the delivery platforms and websites you import menus from. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren’t responsible for their services.

12Availability and changes to the Service

We work hard to keep qriz.ai available, fast and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control. If we ever stop offering the Service altogether, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of any period you’ve paid for.

13Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, in whole or in part, if you break these Terms, don’t pay, put guests, other customers or the Service at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

When your account ends, your access to the dashboard ends, your guest menu goes offline and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. The parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue, such as payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, stay in effect.

14Our intellectual property

We own qriz.ai: its software, design, themes, text and trademarks. While your subscription is active, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your restaurant under these Terms. The QR codes we generate for your menu are yours to print and display; they work while your menu is live.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

15Disclaimers

Except as these Terms expressly say, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t run your restaurant: we aren’t responsible for your food, service, prices or dealings with guests, or for what guests do.

16Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Mtislab isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from these Terms or the Service.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you haven’t paid anything.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17Indemnity

You’ll defend and indemnify Mtislab against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties that arise from your content, your use of guest information, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as qriz.ai changes; the date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

19Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Mtislab LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, contact us first: we’ll try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can’t, the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law where you are gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

20General

Entire agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
Notices
We’ll send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the dashboard. You can reach us at info@mtislab.com.
Assignment
You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we’ll tell you if we do.
Events outside our control
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of internet or hosting providers, natural disasters or acts of government.
Severability and waiver
If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right straight away doesn’t mean we give it up.
Language
If we provide these Terms in other languages, the English version applies in case of conflict.
